Guided Path Home Services LLC ("Guided Path," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting it. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, when and how we share it, and the rights you have regarding your information.

 

This Privacy Policy applies to all Guided Path services, including:

  • The Guided Path website at guidedpathhomeservices.com

  • The Riley AI voice assistant accessible at (989) 814-4056

  • SMS messaging from Guided Path

  • The Guided Path web application at app.guidedpathhomeservices.com

  • Email communications from Guided Path

  • Home Care Plus subscription services

  • Paid Riley troubleshoot sessions

  • Contractor Network Membership services

 

By using the Services, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

 

2. INFORMATION WE COLLECT

 

2.1 Information you provide directly

 

When you use the Services, you may provide:

  • Identity and contact information: first name, last name, email address, phone number, service address (street, city, ZIP)

  • Home service request details: issue description, urgency, service type, photographs (if you choose to upload), preferred contact times

  • Account information: if you create a Home Care Plus account, your username, password (hashed only — we never see your password), preferences

  • Payment information: processed by Stripe — we receive only confirmation of charge, the last four digits of your card, card brand, and expiration month/year. We do not store full card numbers.

  • Communications you send us: emails, SMS replies, voice messages, support requests

 

2.2 Information collected during Riley calls

 

When you call Riley at (989) 814-4056, we collect:

  • Call audio recordings: every call is recorded for quality, training, refund processing, and dispute resolution. Riley discloses recording at the start of every call.

  • Call transcripts: automated transcription of recorded calls

  • Call metadata: caller phone number (from Twilio caller ID), call start time, call duration, call outcome

  • AI analysis output: Riley's structured extraction of lead information (name, address, issue, urgency) from the conversation

 

2.3 Information collected automatically

 

When you use our website or web application, we may automatically collect:

  • Technical information: IP address, browser type and version, operating system, device type, referrer URL, language preferences

  • Usage information: pages visited, time on page, click patterns, form interactions, search queries

  • Cookie data: see Section 7 below

 

2.4 Information from third parties

 

We may receive information from third parties including:

  • Stripe: payment confirmations, chargeback notifications, customer portal interactions

  • Twilio: SMS delivery receipts, undeliverable message notifications, opt-out signals

  • Bland AI: call processing data, transcription, analysis schema outputs

  • Anthropic: model usage data for the AI processing layer

  • Wix: form submissions, website analytics

  • Cloudflare: request logs, DNS query data, edge security signals

  • Supabase: database operation logs

  • Resend: email delivery receipts, bounce notifications

  • Google Workspace: when applicable, email-related data

 

3. HOW WE USE INFORMATION

 

We use the information we collect to:

 

3.1 Provide the Services

  • Connect you with a matched licensed contractor

  • Process payments for Paid Riley sessions and Home Care Plus subscriptions

  • Send you SMS, email, and other notifications related to your account

  • Process refunds and resolve disputes

  • Provide AI advisory services through Riley

 

3.2 Improve the Services

  • Review Riley call transcripts for quality assurance and AI improvement

  • Analyze usage patterns to improve features

  • Develop new services

  • Test and debug the platform

3.3 Communicate with you

  • Send transactional messages (lead status, payment confirmations, subscription renewals)

  • Respond to support requests

  • Send monthly home-care reminders (Home Care Plus subscribers only)

  • Send marketing communications (only if you have separately opted in)

 

3.4 Comply with legal obligations

  • Maintain TCPA consent records for 4 years minimum

  • Maintain Michigan recording consent records as required

  • Comply with tax reporting requirements (7-year retention for financial records)

  • Respond to lawful requests from courts, government agencies, and regulators

  • Protect against fraud, abuse, and security threats

 

3.5 Enforce our Terms

  • Investigate violations of our Terms of Service or Acceptable Use Policy

  • Take action against fraudulent or harmful use of the Services

 

4. ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE AND DATA USE

 

4.1 AI processing

 

Riley is powered by third-party AI infrastructure (Bland AI for voice; Anthropic large language models for the underlying language processing). When you speak to Riley:

  • Your speech is transmitted to Bland AI's infrastructure for processing

  • Bland AI invokes Anthropic's language model to generate Riley's responses

  • The conversation is recorded, transcribed, and analyzed for the structured fields described in our analysis_schema

 

4.2 Third-party processor terms


Bland AI and Anthropic are each contractually bound to use call data only to provide the Services to Guided Path and according to their respective privacy and data processing terms. They do not own or have independent commercial rights to your data.

 

4.3 AI training


Guided Path may use de-identified Riley call recordings and transcripts to:
(a) Improve Riley's prompting and conversation flow (b) Improve the educational content in Riley's Knowledge Base (c) Improve the AI service quality
We do NOT share identifiable Riley recordings or transcripts with third-party AI training datasets without your explicit additional consent.

 

4.4 Anthropic / Bland AI data use


Per their respective privacy policies and our processor agreements:

  • Anthropic uses inputs and outputs only to provide the Services to Guided Path and does not train its consumer models on this data

  • Bland AI processes call data per its enterprise data use terms

5. WHEN WE SHARE INFORMATION


We share information with:

 

5.1 Matched contractors


When you are matched with a licensed Michigan contractor from our network, we share:

  • Your name

  • Your contact information (phone, email)

  • Your service address

  • Your issue description

  • Your urgency

  • Any photographs you uploaded

 

Contractors are bound by confidentiality terms in their Contractor Network Agreement that restrict their use of this information to fulfilling the matched lead only. Contractors may not use the information for marketing or share it with any third party.

 

5.2 Service providers

 

We share information with third-party service providers strictly to deliver the Services:

  • Defend against legal claims

 

5.4 Business transfers

 

If Guided Path is acquired, merged, or transferred, your information may be transferred to the successor entity. We will notify you of any such transfer.

 

5.5 With your consent

 

We may share information with third parties not listed above only with your explicit consent.

 

5.6 What we do NOT do

 

We do NOT:

  • Sell your personal information to advertisers or data brokers

  • Share your information with third parties for their marketing purposes

  • Use your home service request information for any purpose other than connecting you with a contractor and improving the Services

  • Share Riley call recordings publicly or with third-party AI training datasets without your explicit additional consent

8. YOUR RIGHTS

 

Subject to applicable law, you have the following rights regarding your information:

 

8.1 Access

 

You may request a copy of the personal information we hold about you by emailing help@guidedpathhomeservices.com with the subject line "Data Access Request."

 

8.2 Correction

 

You may request correction of inaccurate personal information by emailing help@guidedpathhomeservices.com.

8.3 Deletion

 

You may request deletion of your personal information by emailing help@guidedpathhomeservices.com. We will delete your information unless we are required to retain it for legal, regulatory, accounting, or dispute resolution purposes.

 

8.4 Portability


You may request a portable copy of your personal information in a structured, machine-readable format by emailing help@guidedpathhomeservices.com.

 

8.5 Marketing opt-out

 

You may opt out of marketing communications by:

  • Replying STOP to any SMS message

  • Clicking "unsubscribe" in any marketing email

  • Emailing help@guidedpathhomeservices.com with subject "Unsubscribe"

 

8.6 Subscription cancellation


You may cancel Home Care Plus or any Contractor Network Membership at any time through the Stripe customer portal accessible via your account. No telephone call is required (ROSCA-compliant).

 

8.7 Withdrawal of consent

 

You may withdraw consent for non-essential data processing at any time. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before withdrawal.

 

8.8 Complaint

 

If you believe we have not complied with this Privacy Policy or applicable law, you may file a complaint with us at help@guidedpathhomeservices.com or with the relevant data protection authority.

 

8.9 Response time

 

We respond to legitimate rights requests within 30 days. Complex requests may take up to 60 days, in which case we will notify you.

 

9. CALIFORNIA RESIDENTS — CCPA NOTICE

 

If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including:

  • The right to know what categories of personal information we collect about you, the sources of that information, the purposes for which we use it, and the categories of third parties with whom we share it

  • The right to request deletion of your personal information, subject to certain exceptions

  • The right to opt out of the "sale" of your personal information — note that Guided Path does NOT sell personal information as defined under CCPA

  • The right to non-discrimination for exercising your CCPA rights

10. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

 

The Services are not directed to children under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 18, we will delete that information promptly. 11. DATA SECURITY

 

We use commercially reasonable security measures to protect your information, including:

  • Encryption in transit (HTTPS / TLS)

  • Encryption at rest for sensitive fields

  • Access controls and authentication

  • Regular security review and dependency updates

  • Third-party security audits where appropriate

  • Restricted access to personal information on a need-to-know basis

  • Employee training on data protection

 

No security system is perfect. We cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential.

 

12. DATA BREACH NOTIFICATION

 

If we become aware of a data breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you and applicable regulators as required by law. Notification will include the nature of the breach, the information affected, the steps we are taking, and what you can do to protect yourself.

 

13. INTERNATIONAL DATA TRANSFERS

 

Guided Path operates primarily in the United States. Our service providers may process data in the United States and other countries. If you are accessing the Services from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States and other jurisdictions where our service providers operate. We rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers per applicable law.

 

14. TCPA — SMS AND CALL CONSENT

 

By providing your phone number to Guided Path, you expressly consent to receive SMS, voice calls, and other communications from Guided Path for purposes related to your inquiry, your matched contractor, and your account. This consent satisfies TCPA express written consent requirements for non-marketing communications.
For marketing communications (such as seasonal home tips, promotional offers), separate opt-in is required.
You may opt out of any non-transactional SMS by replying STOP. You may opt out of marketing email by clicking "unsubscribe."
Standard message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. Reply HELP for support. For complete TCPA opt-out information, contact help@guidedpathhomeservices.com. Mobile number and SMS opt-in data — no third-party sharing for marketing. Guided Path Home Services does not sell, rent, or share your mobile phone number, SMS opt-in records, or text-message consent data with any third party or affiliate for that party's own marketing or promotional purposes. The only parties that receive your phone number are (a) the licensed Michigan contractor matched to your specific service request, solely so that contractor can contact you about that specific job, and (b) the service providers listed in Section 5.2 (Twilio, Bland AI, etc.) strictly to deliver the messaging service you have opted into, each bound by data-processing terms that prohibit independent use of your data. Message frequency varies. Standard message and data rates may apply.

 

15. MICHIGAN RECORDING DISCLOSURE

 

Calls to Riley at (989) 814-4056 are recorded for quality, training, refund processing, and dispute resolution. Riley discloses recording at the start of every call. Under Michigan's one-party consent law (MCL 750.539a-c), Guided Path's consent to record satisfies the legal requirement. By continuing the call after the recording disclosure, you also consent to the recording. If you do not wish to be recorded, hang up after hearing the disclosure.

 

16. ACCESSIBILITY

 

Guided Path is committed to making the Services accessible to all Users. We work to ensure our website meets relevant accessibility standards. If you encounter an accessibility barrier on the Services, please contact us at help@guidedpathhomeservices.com and we will work with you to provide the information in an accessible format.

 

17. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY

 

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be notified to active Users via email or SMS at least 14 days before taking effect. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this Privacy Policy reflects the most recent update.
Your continued use of the Services after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you may stop using the Services and request deletion of your data.

 

18. THIRD-PARTY LINKS

 

The Services may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party websites. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party website you visit.

 

19. CALL DETAILS — RILEY AI ASSISTANT

 

The following additional details apply specifically to Riley calls:

 

19.1 What is captured

  • Audio recording of the entire call (both your speech and Riley's speech)

  • Automated transcription

  • Structured analysis output (the 11+ fields described in our analysis_schema)

  • Caller phone number, call timestamp, call duration, call outcome

  • Any tools Riley invoked during the call (such as payment link generation for Paid Riley)

  • Any payment confirmation if you completed a Paid Riley session

 

19.2 What it's used for

  • Connecting you with a matched contractor (free intake calls)

  • Providing the paid troubleshoot service you purchased (Paid Riley sessions)

  • Quality assurance — Guided Path personnel may review samples of transcripts

  • AI improvement — de-identified data may be used to improve prompting and Knowledge Base content

  • Refund processing — if you request a refund or chargeback, the recording and transcript are used to resolve the request

  • Dispute resolution — if a dispute arises about what was discussed, the recording is authoritative

 

 

19.3 Retention

 

90 days from the call date, after which recordings and transcripts are automatically deleted unless required for an active dispute, refund, or legal matter.

 

19.4 Access controls

 

Access to Riley recordings is restricted to Guided Path's authorized personnel (founders Jake Zazo and Joseph Zazo) and to the third-party service providers under contractual data processing terms. Recordings are not accessible to other Users, to contractors, or to any third party except as described in this Privacy Policy.

 

20. CONTRACTOR DATA

 

If you are a contractor in the Guided Path network, this Privacy Policy applies to your data in conjunction with the Contractor Network Agreement. We collect business identity information (business legal name, owner name, license number, insurance certificate, service area, trade) and review/rating data. Your business profile is published on the Guided Path website to homeowners.
